If you’re confused about Tetsu’s cross-dressing EZ, it’s an odd cultural thing in Japan. Over there, they think Cross-Dressing is funny. Just in and of itself. It’s an extension of its rather Homophobic state. Ironic given all the homosexual material it’s produced. But that’s mostly obscure. It’s rare to see homosexual culture given fair and respectful treatment in more mainstream Japanese media. One Piece is the only one that comes to mind. Tiger & Bunny also did well with their character “Fire Emblem”.
